Cant see book.xls but can print preview it ??

Our organization uses office 97.
I have one users who gets files from others but can only print preview
them and print them. She cannot edit them. I cannot see any setting
that changes this. Others can open them no problem. When she opens
them its just a blank screen that just looks like nothing is there.
But when you look in windows list it is there and if you print preview
it, it is there. I have changed permissions on the file and even on
the whole drive so she can modify files but nothing. the file has full
rights for her.

Can anyone help me on this.

Tell her to try opening the file.

Then
Window|Arrange|tiled and resize.

This seems to be common problem when workbooks are shared between people with
different video settings--is someone using a laptop (and the rest desktops)?
