Can't See Confirmation Page When Submitting Contact Us Form

Hi, I'm getting the same error message as amen in a 4/14/06 posting. When
visitors complete my "Contact Us" form and hit "Submit," they should see a
Confirmation page that thanks them for writing. Instead, they're often
getting the Frontpage Error message. The Help Desk at my host server says
there is no problem on their end.

The problem doesn't always appear, which seems odd, but I have to get it
corrected before I use the Contact Us feature more widely on my site. Right
now, I'm testing it with a hyperlink at the bottom of each page, under
"Contact Us." BTW, I'm having results e-mailed to contactus at
momsofomaha.com, which is a valid, functioning address. My site can be found
at MomsOfOmaha.com and the Contact Form is located at
momsofomaha.com/form_for_site/contact_us.htm The Confirmation page is at
momsofomaha.com/forms_for_site/confirmation.htm

On other thing: When I specify in Frontpage 2003 that results are to be
emailed, I get a message saying this form can't be emailed because site may
be on a disk-based server, etc. I do upload to a server on the internet, and
I assume this error message really doesn't apply once I upload. Just wanted
to make you aware. I do upload via Frontpage, too. Any advice appreciated.

Suggest you add some form field validation
- requiring at least x (say 10) characters in the comment field
I just ran your form (empty) and it worked fine (got your confirmation page)
- but that means you probably got an empty email
Also Ran it again w/ a short comment & it worked fine again
- so that means you got an email w/ a short comment

I've just tried adding a minimum of characters (10) to the comment field, but
the problem still occurs. I don't know if this means anything, but when I go
to publish the page, I see that both my contact us and confirmation pages
show the "unmatched" indication. Can you think of anything else to try?

I have a clue on what the problem is. The text box I have on my form is
colored yellow when viewed on my laptop. When I right-click in that box I
get a menu that says delete, select all, and generate custom search.
Clicking generate custom search shows "Google Toolbar Custom Button Generator
- Add Custom Button - click add to add this to your toolbar, etc." So, it
seems Google may be creating a conflict on this box. I also have a text area
box used for comments, but it seems unaffected by Google. (No "Generate
custom search" message there.) Should I just change the text box to a text
area box, or is there a way to keep Google from conflicting with the text
box, assuming, of course, that it is the source of the problem?
