I am using Project Server with a team of about 60 people, who are all within
the same network and in the same building. Only one user is having trouble
getting the “View MyTask†or the “Project Center†page to display any data.
These are the only two pages I gave all users access to. The home page opens
up and displays the appropriate data with no problem; it’s only on the two
other pages. First a blank screen appears for about 40 seconds, then the
page displays with no data and a message that says “loading data…â€, then the
session ends and never shows any data. The internet and network settings on
this machine are the same as all of the other users, who are having no issues
at all. I am also able to log on as this user on my other machine with no
problems. It appears to be an isolated issue with the machine, I am thinking
it has nothing to do with Project Server at all, but figured I would ask
anyway. Incidentally, all other applications work fine, but the user did say
everything seems a very sluggish. I guess I am wondering what to ask the
Help Desk department to do.
