Can't see images sent from Outlook 2007 with OE6.x

I am not certain whether the problem I'll describe is an OE6.x issue or

an Outlook 2007 issue but I'd appreciate any help:
I am creating email with Outlook 2007 (part of the MS Office Enterprise

package).
I check to be certain that I'm using the HTML email creation option.
I then create an email and insert a photo via the drop-down menu item
that
allows me to browse for a picture.
I then change the background color of this email and use some of the
nice fill-effects that are available with this client.
When I'm done the email in front of me looks fine. I can see everything
I've just created.
I then send it one of my other computers on my home network ehich is
using Outlook Express version 6.x on a WinXP system.
The client on that machine is definitely set for HTML email and has
never had any problem seeing
images, photos, animations, colors, sound, etc.
When the above referenced emial arrives on this OE system, the user
sees nothing but the name of the inserted picture and any text
originally written.
No picture, no color, no fill-effects.
Any idea as to why this might be happening?
I've NEVER used Outlook before (I've aways used OE). Is what I'm trying
to
do possible or is Outllook HTML email not visible on OE systems??
Thxs for any help.
