Can't see Internet Explorer's Info Bar displayed

Hello all

I was trying to get Office Updates, but I couldnt see the Internet
Explorer's Info Bar displayed when I installed the Installation Engine. I
then went to the troubleshooting page, and did whatever it was said there,
but the Info Bar is still not displayed.
The current MS office verison on my computer is MS Office 2000.
Should I just go ahead download the new version directily from the download
page?

The Info Bar only appears on Windows XP I believe. If you are having
trouble installing the installation engine you can add office.microsoft.com
to your trusted sites. Are you able to run detection and see what is needed
for your computer?
