Can't see Report-Preview from VB

DoCmd.OpenReport "MyReport", acPreview
does not give the report preview when executed through
VB6.

However acNormal prints the reports to the printer.
How to obtain the report-preview through VB?

As suggested by some one I tried
acObjStateOpen
DoEvents
Wend

but this too does not show the report, though
acObjStateOpen shows 1 (i.e. the report is open)
