Hello,

Subfolders in Sent items folder don't show 'To' information in Right Pane view. Very annoying.

This has been discussed long time ago but is there a fix now ?

No. I doubt the Sent folder was ever designed to have subfolders. The only
option is to put all into the root Sent folder.

With Preview Pane below, you can add the column "To."

Thanks Diane.

I know that below it's possible. But doesn't fit my wish...

Wether it was intended or not the feature is there and I don't see any valuable objection to put subfolders in Sent folder (as in each built-in folders at the top).

This option is very useful to 'sort' sent messages, for different customers for instance. It allows a quick look on all messages sent to a specifc customer and this is faster than typing in the search field each time I need to see all the messages sent to this customer.

With the Right preview pane (my choice) the display in the root Sent folder is logical and OK. The information displayed is useful and enough (To, Object and Date).

What I point out is that the display in subfolders is different from the root Sent folder (there is absolutely no valuable reason for this) and in addition this is totally illogical in that place.

Paul Berkowitz sent comments about it long time ago but none of the solution works for me.

I sent a feedback.

That's called a bug by design. :)

In Entourage 2008, the spotlight search is extremely fast. Use the top
search box on the right not the quick filter. Once you select the subfolder,
type the name you want. I do this all the time looking for replies and
correspondence from users. I was pleasantly surprised with the quickness.

When things don't work like we users would like, we do our best to find
workarounds. IMHO the spotlight search is a pretty darn good workaround.

I'll concur that this is a bug but I doubt it will get fixed. Your
message is the first I've heard about this and sub-folders within Sent
Items are an uncommon method of filing. Right now, the developers at the
Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) at Microsoft are busy working on the
next version of Office and that has their time now.

I did notice that while viewing a sub-folder within Sent Items you can
select View --> Arrange By --> Show in Gropus and View --> Arrange By
--> To to sort messages by groups of people.

Hope this helps!
