Can't Seem to Freely Move Group

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Many times, when I try to move an image/caption group vertically within a document, the group will insist on butting up against the top of the page it's on. I'm wondering what I can do, short of inserting a page break at that location, to force it to move down on the page?

Turn off text-wrapping by designating objects to be placed either in front or back of text. That should allow you to move the group.
