Ok, I've browsed through tons of sites, blogs and FAQ's having the same
problem and have tried all of the suggestions but can't get it to work
I've set up an Exchange account in Entourage and I get all my account info
(mail, calendar etc) downloaded to my computer without any problems.
When I try to send any mail I get the error message: "Entourage is unable to
access the mail account you are using with the mail server configured for
that account." - id: 18597.
I am using Entourage 2008 connecting to Exchange 2007.
* I am using the same SMTP in Entourage account settings as I have in
Exchange
* Dav/WebDav is enabled
* I have tried all formats of server name including
"https:<serverName>/exchange/[email protected]>"
* I have tried deleting the domain info, keeping that field empty
* I can connect to my webmail through Safari at https://<myServername>/owa
using same authentication as stated in Entourage account
* I have the same server string as above for public folders except for
exchanging /exchange to /public
* I have tried using /owa instead of /exchange
No luck being able to send mail though..
Right now I am getting a bit frustrated and I hope that someone may be able
to help me out with some more suggestions?
