Recently, I have been unable to send messages with attachments of virtually any size. Before, I did not have any trouble sending PDF attachments, but now, even attachments that are less than 1MB cause the sending to slow down to the point where the server times out before the message is sent. Subsequent attempts to send don't seem to make any progress.

It could be a server-side issue. The SMTP could be blocking
attachements. Do you get an error message ??

Yes I do get an error message. After several minutes of trying to send, a message pops up saying "An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic". If I log into my e-mail provider online, however, I am usually able to send messages with attachments. So I assumed the problem was related to entourage.

Does that help? Thank you!

Well it could be that the server is overloaded (or that the attachments
are too big for the server).

Yeah, but you're not really sending through the same server.
I would contact them to ask them what's up with thier SMTP server.
