I have been using Outlook 2007 with my Hotmail and Live.com accounts for well
over a year now. I recently tried to send an email that got stuck in the
outbox. The only way I could get it out was to set "Work Offline." Once I
did that I was able to delete the message. I then removed the "Work Offline"
check, exited Outlook and got back in (I have done this several times now,
including rebooting the computer).
I can no longer send email messages. When I try, I get error (8x80040126):
'The operation cannot be performed because the connection to the server is
offline.'
How can I get the server back online? It appears that I am still receiving
emails to both accounts.
Thank you.
