Can't send or receive Outlook 2007

Two days ago my outgoing emails started backing up in my Outbox. It was the
end of the day so I rebooted and went home. The next day when I logged on I
got the 'Would you like to configure an email address' message. I did, no
history. Imported everything in the .pst file but still can't send or receive
(error message is 0x800CCC78.)

Help? Please?

I think that I can understand why nobody has responded to your question. It
is probably beneath their level of interest. Many of these guys are pros and
very simple questions they leave you to find out for yourself by trial and
error. This appears to be an error related to your connection to the
Internaet, and ISP (Internet Service Provider). Nobody has bothered to
answer because you have not provided adequate information about the specific
problem. I don't know what the error message means, but I'll bet you a
dollar to a dime that you have not configured your version of Outlook
correctly. This, nobody can do for you. Ask your Administrator to check it
out.

First triple-check to make sure you have your username and password for
your e-mail account correct. If you're positive that you do, check with
your Internet Service provider for the proper configuration of your
service. It could be that they require you to use a non-standard port
to connect to for e-mail.

Best wishes and aloha,

Clearly you don't read this newsgroup very often.
