Can't ''Send the current sheet as the message body" Excel '03

Excel 2003 SP3, MS Office Standard Edition 2003, XP Pro SP2

Ok when 'Send the entire workbook as an attachment', but rcvs following msgs
when attempting to do other option:
"Excel could not start the e-mail program.
Check your network connection. Make sure Office is installed correctly,
your e-mail program is set up correctly, and you can connect to your
e-mail server."

I wonder if it's because it's Office Std Edition? Pro works fine. I've
already checked <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828509> and
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834008>. Thanks!
