Although I can access earlier versions of Word docs by opening Word 2007 and
then opening the document, when I double-click on an earlier document for
example on the desktop I can't set 'Open With' to Word 2007. From Open With
I browse to where I <think> Word is, ie. Program Files / Microsoft Office /
Office12 / Winword.exe but when I click OK it doesn't 'save' that location as
the
default Open With. Have tried checking the 'always use' box. Help!
Running Vista Home Premium on a two week old machine. Installed Office 2000
briefly then uninstalled it before installing 2007.
