can't set up addresses for sharing calendar

I'm trying to install Net Folders from Office 2000 in
order to share my calendar with two others. The
insttallation goes well until I click "Finish" and then I
get a message that the new subscribers addreses cannot be
contacted. Anyone know what may be happening?
