Can't sort by this field

I have Outlook 2007 and in the Tasks I am unable to sort by Subject. I can
sort all other fields, just not this one. When I try I get the Unable to sort
by this field error.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

That is in the To-do list, not Tasks. The To-do has all flagged items and
you can't sort by subject - you could create a search folder for flagged
email and sort on the subject or sort the real Tasks folder by subject.
