Can't start Access 97!

R

Ron Hinds

I uninstalled my Access 97 and reinstalled it. Now when I try to open A97
directly, I get this message (blank means nothing is there but it appears
there should be something):

(Blank) can't find the database you specified, or you didn't specify a
database at all. Specify a valid databse name in the command line, and
include a path if necessary, so that (blank) can find the application.

If I double-click one of my applications (MDB's), A97 tries to open it but
without any of the usual menus, etc. And, it fails on open. It's acting like
it is the runtime version of Access. I've tried uninstalling and
reinstalling several times with no luck.

I also have Office 2003 installed on this machine (W2K). Anyone have any
ideas?
