Recently I attempted to start (for the first time) a copy of Outlook 2003. I
was not interested in the email feature at the moment, so when it asked how I
wanted to connect to email, I just clicked on Exchange Server and tried to
move on. Of course, it wouldn't let me. I would like to start with a fresh
opening, but every time I start Outlook now, I get a screen that says "The
connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be
online or connected to complete this action." I click on the OK button, and
up comes a Microsoft Exchange Server window with text boxes in which to enter
an MS Exchange Server: and a Mailbox: . Of course, I have no valid info for
these boxes and I can only click on OK. Another window pops up saying
"Unable to open your default email folders. The information store could not
be opened." Click on OK, the window(s) vanish, and I'm back to the desktop.
What can I do to get to an original startup configuration?
