Can't Stop Email from Transmitting

R

Hey - I have a problem concerning Outlook for Office XP -- I have two email
accounts created under Office; one is my parents', which I monitor for them,
and the other is my own. I am not allowed to send email through my parents'
account as my computer is not within their ISP's network. Anyway, recently
Outlook has begun to report a send/receive error periodically. It keeps
telling me "sending message 1/1" and then that it "cannot send on <my parents
email server>." While I never intended to send a message on this server, I
must have accidentally selected it for sending.

Anyway, the message isn't in my outbox, and I can't seem to cancel the
sending; I would like to at least see which of my emails didn't go through!
Anybody have any idea how I can find and stop this message??

Thanks

You can still do it, if you want. You just have to user the proper outgoing
server.

I daresay you read a message that arrived via the parents' account and that
requested a read receipt, which will always get queued for sending via the
receiving account. See this:
