I installed Office 2004 but Office X is still on my system. When I use my
default printer everything is fine under all Office programs. But when I want
to use another (network) color printer, Word always uses the default printer
while Excel and PowerPoint have no problem with changing printers.
Further, this only happens when I am logged in as "user" not when the
"superuser" is logged in. The "superuser" has no Office "history" under either
X or 2004. I have run disk utility privileges, I have trashed the ~/Library/
Preferences/Microsoft, and I have looked "everywhere" for the cause. i
suspect files inherited from Word X but can't figure out which.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a "work-around' by making pdf
files and printing them but I would really like to solve the problem.
Thanks.
