Hi,

I'm having an issue which is driving me crazy. I can't tab between the cells on several of my workbooks in order to enter information. Which means I have to pick up the mouse and click on each cell each time.

I know it doesn't sound much of an issue but when you are adding lots of values in one go it is very time wasting.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Any solutions?

thanks

Does the TAB key work in other work sheets or applications? What happens
when you press TAB?

When I try and tab it just doesn't do anything. it is fine in other programs but the tab button will not move between cells

It happens with both. What happens is I am able to tab and enter values into a few cells, then it will stop entering the value and I can still tab but no values appear.

any ideas?

thanks for your help

No offense, but the thread you cite started more than 18 months ago & the
last post to it was June 13, 2008. Unless you've neglected to update
anything for more than a year it's unlikely that those conditions exist...

But that raises these questions since you haven't indicated that information
in your previous posts: What is your current update level of both Office &
OS X? Have you recently repaired disk permissions & restarted your Mac?

Do you have any utilities, "helpers", or haxies installed? Try logging in
while holding the Shift key & see if the problem persists.
