Can't Type in OneNote

I just installed the trial of OneNote 2003 on my WinXP Pro machine. I have
restarted both the application and the machine after installing. I have
updated all the Office and Windows Updates.

However, I still cannot type at all in any OneNote page. I click around in
the Title boxes, in the main part of the page, everywhere and I cannot type
anything.

Are you on a Tablet PC or a laptop/desktop? Can you click any spot on a
page and have the cursor show? Is the little pen icon selected?

I am on a laptop. I can click any spot on a page and I see the blinking
cursor with a shaded background text box. I can also click within the "Title"
boxes for each page and see a blinking cursor. The pen icon is selected.

I rebooted three times this morning, and now it works. Maybe something with
the delayed activation, though it claimed it was completed and I rebooted
minutes after...

Sorry to have wasted your time...
