Can't Undo Mirror Margins

P

Pincho

I accidentally saved a document with mirrored margins as part of a section
break. I originally wanted part of a page to have two columns. Then the next
part to have 1 column. I clicked mirror margins, not actually knowing what it
did. Then saved my document.

Now I can't get rid of the mirrored margins. I have tried everything. I have
deleted the section break. I have made a single column throughout the
document. I have tried aligning the text with the left justify button. I have
tried using backspace to remove the large mirror gap on odd pages, but
nothing will work.

I need to fix this problem urgently. This is a script for the BBC.

Mirror margins apply to the whole document; the setting is not tied to a
particular section. You can turn it off in the Page Setup dialog box. On
the Margins tab of the dialog box, choose "Normal" for "Multiple pages."

To display the Page Setup dialog box:

- In Word 2003, click File | Page Setup.

- In Word 2007, click the Page Layout tab, and then click the dialog
launcher button in the Page Setup group.
