Can't uninstall BCM 2003

I need to uninstall BCM, but I get a "Fatal error during installation"
message when I attempt uninstall from the control panel. I've also tried
using the original install disk, but get the "file and print sharing must be
enabled" message. As near as I can tell they are enabled. Using Windows XP
Home.
