I have a computer that previously had Office 2000
Standard Edition installed on it. Unfortunately, not all
of the features were installed, so certain features
require me to insert the installation CD which I can not
find. I do however, have a copy of Office 2000
Professional Edition, but it will not accept this as a
substitute. I have tried doing a complete install of the
Professional Edition, but the Standard Edition will not
go away - for instance, when I use word and try a special
feature, I get a pop up window asking me for the Standard
Edition installation CD. I would like to uninstall the
Standard Edition and THEN install the Professional
Edition. My problem lies in the fact that when I attempt
to uninstall the Standard Edition, I am prompted for the
installation CDs! How can I uninstall the Standard
Edition with out the CDs?
Please help!
Thanks,
Jillian
