I am trying to uninstall Office XP (Pro with Front Page) to clean up a
problem after installimng a new hard disk and changing drive letters, but the
Installer won't let me because of a problem locating the PROPLUS.MSI file. I
have the original disks but Installer just doesn't want to recognise the
PROPLUS.MSI file either on the disk, or other copies I have (eg in
c:\windows\installer etc).
Is there any work around to this to unistall or remove Office? I'm happy
digging into the registry? I've tried all the various Detect & Repair
options to no avail. Is there anything to do with Office XP Service Pack
updates? I am running Windows XP-SP2 by the way.
I want to fully restore Office after the clean up. Thanks
