Can't uninstall or reinstall Office

Had to reinstall Windows ME so Office like most software
needs to be reinstalled. When I try to reinstall I get an
Installer Information window that says I need to reboot to
proceed but rebooting will not make it go away!! Office
no longer shows up under Add/Remove nor do I see an
uninstall function in the office folder. I am stuck....
can't uninstall or reinstall Office. Can I just delete
the Office folder then run the Office Removal Cleanup
program that I found on Microsoft site? Can I get the
Add/Remove tab back??? Is there another Office removal
routine? I think that I have added all of the service
packs but am not sure. Please help, I need my programs
back!!!!
