Can't uninstall the original Beta.

OK, so I decided I could not tolerate a bug that can cause me to loose
notes just because I wanted to undo a stroke or two. So I decided to
uninstall the ON 07 RTM Trial and attempt to reinstall the ON 07 B2TR. I
figured I would wait till they patched the bug and try the RTM again
later. Unfortunately, I was out and only had one version of the Beta on
my Tablet PC's hard drive. I couldn't tell from looking at it if it was
the Beta 2 or B2TR. I hadn't been very diligent about naming the folder
when I downloaded it.

So, I uninstalled B2TR and installed the file I had. It turned out to be
just the plain Beta 2 install. It won't run. It gets an error every time
I try to start it up. If I choose the option to delete the cache then it
will start up but then I am stuck. So, when I got home I tried to
uninstall the Beta 2 so I could install the B2TR which I had on my
external drive at home. No such luck. When I attempt to uninstall the
Beta 2 the HDD grinds for a few seconds then ... nothing. No error
message. Nothing. If I attempt to install B2TR on top of it then I get an
error saying there isn't enough disk space. I've got lots of gigs of
space free.

Can anyone tell me how to get the Beta 2 completely off of my disk so I
can install the B2TR? I do not want the RTM until this Undo bug is fixed.

Never mind. I was so desperate to get back to using OneNote that I
couldn't go to bed and just wait for an answer. I tried to install the
Beta 2 on top of itself and noticed that there was an option to "remove"
it. So I did. I then stupidly attempted to install the B2TR by itself but
it is only a "Refresh" and it didn't have anything to refresh. So, I
installed the Beta 2 again, rebooted, and reapplied the B2TR without even
running the Beta 2 at all. It worked this time. I should add that I had
also cleared out a lot more space on the partition that contains my Temp
folder. I would have thought 2.53 GB would be enough but you never know.
I freed up over 8 GB of space before running the B2TR install. Therefore,
I can't be sure which solved my problem.
