I have the Trial Office Standard 2007 version on my pc. I do not want to
convert it to the full version (costs too much for me). But I bought the CD
of just the Outlook 2007 and want to use that.
I was told I needed to uninstall the Trial Standard suite before I could
install the new Outlook or there would be problems.
I went through the uninstall process -- went to Add or Remove Programs, hit
Remove, it went through the uninstall process, I rebooted. BUT the trial
version is still listed as a current program in the Add or Remove Programs
list. When I click Remove, nothing happens. When I try to open and use the
trial Outlook, it won't open and says I have a patch error.
How do I get rid of the Trial version Standard suite so I can put on Outlook??
