Can't uninstall Windows Defender

When I try to uninstall Windows Defender through the add/remove programs
dialog I get an error message about 15 seconds in. It doesn't uninstall.

What is the process to manually remove it??

By the way, the install is on Windows SBS 2000 and was installed using the
terminal services install procedure.

And how is this related to security of an Access database?

This newsgroup is for questions about securing a database file created with
Microsoft Access.

Sorry, I used the search engine and the term "Windows Defender" to get here.
As usual, Microsoft's search engine is worthless.
