I had Office 2007 Standard on my desktop and wanted to move it to my
daughter's laptop. I attempted to uninstall and got an error message. I
searched the website and was instructed to install the Windows Install
Cleanup Utility and use that to remove everything related to the original
install. Office Standard 2007 still shows up in Add/Remove, but the
application doesn't open. I can't "remove" with Add/Remove, and I tried
using the installation CD without success. I now want to install Office Home
and Student on the desktop, but I can't seem to remove the necessary elements
to do so. Can anyone help me short of reformatting?
