Can't update/Can't install--where's the help?

I'm running Vista Business. I tried to update Office 2007 Premium and got
the "Detection failed, this can be caused by a corrupted installation
database" message. That's helpful.

Then I tried to de-install O2007 and got a "MS Office Enterprise 2007
uninstall did not complete successfully." [Close] message. Equally helpful.

Does anyone know how to get around these issues? Should I delete the Office
2007 folder and run JV16Tools to clean out the registry, and then simply
re-install everything that I want?

Is MS Listening? Do they care? AT $100 for email support it would seem
they are not and do not!

Hi, I totally agree! I even received a confirmation number from support and
have never had a reply! Also, when I go to my support request list - it
doesn't even show up. I am having exactly the same issue and am anxious for
a solution!
