Can't upgrde Office 2000

Hi,

I tried to upgrade Office2K but somehow it can't be done. I am using WinME +
Office2K Professional + IE6. I can't find any indication that SR-1 is
already installed but each time I am trying to upgrade it I am getting a
message that SR-1 is already installed. When I'm trying higher SP versions I
am prompted with a message that "Microsoft Office 2000 Professional is not
at the SR-1 level". How should I proceed with the upgrade ??

The version of the Office SP should be obtainable in the Control
Panel/Add/Remove programs dialogue and, or in any Office app, Help/About
Are you trying to update via the Office Update site, scan my comp?

Hello David,
In the Add/Remove looks like there is no SR-1a !!! Yes, I' using the Office
Update site, scan my computer. The only box I can check it the SR-1a one BUT
after successful downloading, when I installing the downloaded file, I am
prompted with a message that SR-1 is already installed !!!!
What the installation engine checks ?
