Cant Upload document, Risk and Issues

Hi guys,

I need your help. I Uninstalled Project Server 2003 and left the
database intact. I now reinstalled and connected to existing
database.Everything worked fine except that i cannot connect properly
and upload document, issues and risk. I get the following error
message

"The documents, risks and issues features in Project Web Access use
Windows SharePoint Services.A Windows SharePoint Services site needs
to be created for your project before you can share project documents
or track project risks and issues. Site creation takes a few minutes,
so if the project was just published, wait a few minutes and then
visit the page again. Otherwise, contact your server administrator".

I really appreciate if someone can help me out.
Regards,
Ayo

Ayo,

You have problems with SharePoint. Sites are not created. Check URL. Test it
through PWA. You may have problems with Single Sign-On service.

EmiH,
Thanks for your response. I clicked on the test URL link under manage
windows sharepoint services under Admin and i was taken to Windows
SharePoint Services
Central Administration page. What else should i to? I'm a new comer to

Check in Central Administration/Server configuration if Single Sign-On
service is configured. If not, find this service (MIcrosoft Single Sign-On)
in Services and set its proeprties as follows:

1. On the General tab select Enable and set start up to Automatically. Make
sure that service started.
2. On the Log On tab specify which account to use when using this service (I
recommend the user with the admin rights which is set in Central
Administration).

I had the same problem and resolved it that way.

Inform me of results.

Ayo, do you have Windows Server installed? It has to be thre. Be sure to
search not in client machine (Win XP) but on the server, where SharePoint is
installed (if not, locate it one the machine, where PrjectServer is
running). Inform me if you can't find it.

I installed SQL Server 2000, Windows sharepoint services and Project
server 2003 on the same machine which has windows 2003 server running.
