Can't use functionality in design mode?? Help me!

Hi,
Access 2002 in Win2000

A tool (mde file) that has been working fine all these
days suddenly pops up with an error:

"license information for this component not found. You do
not have the appropriate license to use this functionality
in the design environment."

Any ideas/comments/suggestions?
