What problems are you having?

You should have a printer called "Send to Microsoft OneNote" and just print
to that from any application.

Do you not see it in your Printers & Faxes? Did you install the Tablet PC
Send to OneNote 2003 app? Or the OneNote Image Writer powertoy?

Otherwise please log a bug here and here are directions:

I too cannot insert a file as a printout, nor do I have the ""Send to
Microsoft OneNote" printer driver. I did install (and still have installed)
the Tablet PC Send to OneNote 2003 application from the Tablet PC, and there
does seem to be a new printer "port" called "Send to Microsoft OneNote Port."
Nevertheless, there is now new printer called "Send to Microsoft OneNote."
Do I need to do something else to install it?

more.

Daniel,
I too am having the problem.
I had previously installed the Send to OneNote 2003 App, and now when I try
to Insert file as printout, I get an error message saying there was a
printing problem, and I'm given a dialog box with the choice to 'end' or
'debug'.
Help please!! Need to get this working real fast. I depend on this feature
and without it OneNote is next to useless to me :(

Actually, I've resolved the problem by doing the following:

Uninstall the Send to ON2003 printer.
Re-run ON2007 B2 setup and choose the repair option.
I now have the Send to OneNote printer in my list of printers.

That said .. its not as useful as the Send to ON2003 tool. It REALLY REALLY
needs the option to print multi-page documents to multiple pages/subpages
within OneNote. Where do I mention this so that it might be considered as a
feature addition prior to the beta period ending?

Cheers,

Rod.

Hi Rod,

Does this mean you had the powertoy still installed when you installed
OneNote 2007? If you did, do the following: remove OneNote 2007 (your
data and all settings will be fine, don't worry), reboot, remove
PowerToy, reboot, verify the printer for the powertoy is gone, reinstall
OneNote 2007. Don't forget the reboot steps, they are important.
Now you should have the "Send to Microsoft OneNote" printer. Note that
the printer for the PowerToy reads slightly different, namely "Send to
Microsoft OneNote 2003".
