Cant use Menus

Hi,

After opening Word 2003, I can highlight the menu's (File, Edit, etc) but
they do not expand when I left click them.

Any ideas?

On the Tools menu, click Customize. Click the Toolbars tab. Select the
Menu Bar item, and click Reset. If prompted, make sure that you reset
for the Normal template, and click OK. Click Close to close the
Customize dialog box.

Sounds like a registry issue. I would try the steps shown here to isolate
and repair the problem:

Thanks for the replies.

We are unable to change registry settings on our network. I have had to
raise a call with our helpdesk.
