Cant view any projects, activities or proposals in PS2007

Hi
We are sitting with a major issue where our project list has suddenly
'dissapeared' from "Retrieve list from project server". Our publish feature
in PWA has also dissapeared so you can view projects in PWA, but you can not
publish them as the button is no longer there. Permissions are all still in
place.

We had one of our DBA's look at the publish database and everything seems
sound, but we can't access (or see) the project lists through MSP. We have
opened a support call with Microsoft yesterday so we are still waiting but I
would like to post this to find out if anyone has experienced this before and
if they know what the issue is? We have received 'workaround' synch tools
for synchronization from Microsoft due to a known bug around access denied,
so we are not sure if this might be related now.

If you can shed any help please do!

Try to create a new project from Project pro & publish.

Hi Amit,

Thank you for replying. We did try this before and couldn't do it, but we
have found the issue. Unfortunately someone with permissions in the system
fiddled with one of our custom categories and have changed a setting that
included all projects instead of specified projects!!

At least it was not a system issue which we thought it was.
