Can't view consolidated (sub) project task bars in overall calenda

I have been creating consolidated projects where the parent project has several sub-projects inserted into the parent. I can obviously expand and view all project task that include sub-project tasks in the Gantt view. BUT...I can find no way to get the consolidated parent project calendar view to show the sub project task bars with the parent projects task bars that DO show in the calendar view.

I can't believe this functionality would not exist for single AND consolidated projects.

Anyone have a clue if this can be done?
