can't view margins in word

All of a sudden when I am in a Word document in Print view, it isn't showing
the bar at the top or side that I can usually adjust margins and tabs, etc.
with easily. Any ideas on how to restore this?

If you are referring to the ruler at the top of the print preview and the
print layout view pages being gone. Go to "View" and make sure "Ruler" has a
check next to it.
