can't view tasks in gantt view

we are using project server 2003...one of the project managers called me and
said that they cannot see their tasks...I had a look and I cannot see the
tasks in any gantt view...I can see them in the resource usage view and if I
split the screen, I can see them in the bottom gantt view...but not as a full
page gantt view.

I have a number of other projects on the server and I have no problem seeing
their tasks in the gantt view.

anyone's help would be appreciated...thanks.

While some of us may know the answer (I don't) all of your internals
questions or PDS questions would probably better served if you post them in
the developers forum... Just a thought.

Check you Category for PMs...

Was this project just uploaded for the first time, or was it working and all
of a sudden they disappeared?

For my answer, I will assume it's brand new:

Is the Project Manager Category set up where they see all projects
(obviously not in this case), only their own projects, or do you have it set
up so that you have to "move" projects over so that PMs and users can see the
projects?

I think it is set up so you have to move the project over...

Please check and see. If that wasn't it, please repost!

Rick...it's an old project (6 months)...and has been working all along...I
spoke to the project manager again and she said that she had tried to delete
a large section and then save the project and it didn't work from that point
on...and her changes are not reflected on the project central project...ie
the published project...so, I suspect her save didn't work...

I see that you also recommend that I post to the developer's forum...I'll
give that a try...thanks Rick.
