Can't view Unread Messages only

"Current view" allows me to sort emails by "Messages", "Last Seven Days",
"Unread Messages in This Folder", etc.

With one exception -- I'm on a mailing list and have a filter set up to
send all list messages to a folder. That works great, but for some reason in
this particular folder, I can't make unread messages only show up. This
folder will only show all messages, and I can't get it to sort by read status.

This is annoying because the unread messages are interspersed among the read
ones, and I have to scroll through the whole list to find them.

In all my other folders I can just click Current View | Unread Messages, and
it shows me only the messages that haven't been marked read.

Is there any way to fix this? This is Outlook 2003.

Just thought I'd bump this up and see if anyone has any ideas as to how I
could fix this problem.

Still looking for help on this one if anyone has any ideas. I can display
unread messages only in all of my folders, except for one. This one
particular folder shows both read and unread messages, even when I set the
view to unread messages only. I wonder how I could fix this?

Am I up the creek on this one? (i.e., it's just something that can't be
fixed?)
