Capability to work with server-based Access database while offsite

Is there a way to enable a laptop-using offsite worker to work with an Access database (using Access 2000) which resides on a server, without a live RDP Connection to the server? Problem is the offsite locations where this worker will need to work with the database will almost certainly not have Internet access.

Is there a way to copy the database to the laptop, allowing offline, offsite manipulation of the database (only adding of information, no structural modifications) and then some way of re-integrating the changes made while offline, to the "main" database residing on the server??

Any and all help/guidance appreciated!!
