Capitalization

Hello....I am working with MS Word 2000. I have borrowed at document from a
friend of mine...that got the document from someone else. This document is
mainly a table. There is a header and a footer. Anyway, the problem I am
getting is everytime that I type "i"s in this table they capitalize
themselves. It doesn't do this with any other letters and it is all "I"s at
the beggining of words. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is?

Thanks,
Techgrl

Your problem is coming from AutoCorrect. The options for it are found on the
Tools menu; just look for the word AutoCorrect. You may need to double click
the Tools menu name to find it.

First, you may wish to disable the "Capitalize First Letter of Table Cells"
option, second, you may wish to locate "i" in the list of corrections at the
bottom of the dialog box. It is set to automatically correct to "I". You can
delete this entry from the list if it is causing problems. If you later wish
to add it back, it is easy to do so.

Hope this helps!
