Capitalizes automatically and don't want it.

When composing in TEXT, it automatically capitalizes the first word of every
sentence and sometimes I don't want it to. How do I control or turn that
feature off?

Thanks

It's coming from Word's AutoFormat or AutoCorrect settings -- you can change
it there.

Hi Jocelyn,

Thanks for your reply.

Actually, I've long ago fixed my WORD so that it doesn't capitalize the
first letter. I just rechecked my settings and that feature is definately
turned off. I even went to FORMET > Auto Format > Email (as the document
type) and saved it that way. It's still doing it.

Thanks,
ELW

OK, then in Outlook, try going to Tools | Options | Spelling and click the
AutoCorrect Options button...I thought those settings were just a copy of
Word's, but perhaps not.
