Caps Lock freezes office application

Each time I push my Caps Lock key in an Office
application, that application freezes up and I can not do
anything with that application until I ALT+TAB into
another application, minimize the original Office
application and then maximize it. I can have both Word and
Excel open and hit Caps Lock in Word and it freezes up but
then go into Excel and work fine or visa versa. This
problems occurs in Excel, Word, Outlook if I am composing
a message, and Powerpoint. I have not yet tried Access or
Frontpage. It has not happened with any other program that
I have.

I currently have Office XP Pro SP2 on a Win2000 SP4 IBM
T21 with all critical and recommended updates. 800Mhz,
256MB, 20GB
