G'day Tonya Marshall <[email protected]>,

Sorta. The best solution is a button to press to get that info. All
you have to do is write a msgbox with a lot of
Selection.Information(wowsers!) results.

Having asked around, it seems like that has not been in Word for quite a few
versions, though it is displayed in Excel 2003. But even on the keyboard of
my Tablet PC, there's LED's that indicated the status and of course, you
only have to press a few keys to see in what state each of the features is.

Unfortunately, with my wireless keyboard, the indicator lights are not
there. It's to conserve batteries. I've enabled the sounds to indicate
turning them on or off. My worst mistake is missing the tab key and
hitting the caps lock key but at least I have a sound now to let me know
I've "missed." :)
