Caption property of AxisTitle object size limitation

I need to diplay a disclaimer on every chart that is displayed in my
workbook. The disclaimer is much longer then 256 characters, so I
cannot assign it to X-Axis caption. Is there a workaround, or a
better way to do it? Thank you in advance.

Mark,

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, the disclaimer has to be a part
of the chart, since the user has an option to automatically export the
chart to PowerPoint.

Hey Ed -

You can add a textbox to the chart itself that contains this text. The
easiest way is to select the chart and start typing. The textbox
appears in the center of the chart. Move it to where you want it, and
adjust the sizes and positions of the other chart elements to make room.
I just made one with 1933 characters, which you can shrink to 6 point
text and it makes a great fine print disclaimer.

I'd have responded earlier, but on first reading I thought Mark was
suggesting to put the textbox within the chart.

Thank you guys for your help. I realize now what a newbie question
this was. I've never had to deal with Excel much, so I'm not very
familiar with charting, etc.

Thanks again,

Edward
