Captions and Tables

How do you ensure a caption stays with the table? I have
small tables in amongst text. When I edit the text and
add more, the table and the caption are not staying
together. I have tried keep with next, and widows and
orphans and not getting the result I need.... any ideas?

A table caption (I assume you mean native Word's
feature "captions>tables") is simply an SEQ field code
that looks for tables. This means 1) if you put a caption
INSIDE a new, borderless last row of its respective table,
it can't help but stay with the table, and remember, 2) if
you use CTRL+A (select all) and then SHIFT+F9 (update
fields), the fields in your captions will update
themselves if you have added/subtracted tables or
reordered the existing ones.
