Capture PP to VHS

I have a presentation that has a couple linked video files (.WMV format)

I want to capture this to VHS tape. Here is my system config...
1.8ghtz P4 with 768meg ram.
2. nVidia FX5200 with 128meg ram.

The nVidia card has a TV out, which I have going to the Video In on the
TV/VCR unit.

When I play the PP presentation, all individual slides and movies play
perfectly on the computer screen.

However, on the TV/VCR, the linked video files do NOT display. They are
displaying on the computer monitor, but on the TV will only get a black
screen. Once the next slide plays (non video) it will display on both the
computer monitor and the TV.

I'm VERY perplexed as to what is going on, and any and all ideas are greatly
appreciated.
